BLACKPOOL ILLUMINATION TRIP - FRIDAY 2nd OCTOBER 2009 
Cubs and Scouts enjoyed a trip to the Illuminations tonight. The illuminations were viewed this year from a Blackpool tram as children and leaders sped towards the tower to alight just in time to see the spectacular firework display close to the pier. The evening was finished off with our usual trip to the chippie !. The trip was funded by a car wash held last week which raised £160 - thanks to all who attended the car wash and the leaders and helpers who assisted us. Oh, and yes we were late (as usual) getting back.......

MOOR CRAG SAILING WEEKEND 4/5/6 SEPT 09 - Great Tower Camp Site    Having returned from a superb weekend up on Windermere and at Great Tower, where we camped for the weekend, I am pleased to advise that Alex was the Scout fo the camp and received a massive Kendal Mint Cake bar and some badges for his camp blanket. The Leaders would like to thank Graham, Heather and Tracy for their kind assistance and we all hope to attend this fantastic weekend event next year.
SUMMER CAMP 19th June - 21st June 09 - ASHWORTH VALLEY SCOUT CAMP     This year we held a themed summer camp based upon I'm a (Scout) Celebrity, get me out of here ! 33 Cubs and Scouts proudly wore bushwhacker hats with corks and took part in activities and games with a "bush" theme. The King of the Jungle and Scout of the Camp LM kindly gave his prize (a brand new 3 man tent) to iccle Cub J (who was Cub of the Camp) - a very kind gesture rewarded by Tony giving him another tent !.Check the photo's out in the secure photo area. The private areas of the site (photo galleries, videos, blogs etc) are for existing members of the youth organisation only and can only be accessed if you Register by clicking on the word "Register" in the small box to the left on the Home page. After registration the webmaster will either accept the registration or decline it if the details of the applicant are not recognised. This is for child safety reasons. You will have to create a User Name and Password on the registration page and wait a small while until your registration is considered and approved. Please note the webmaster does not access the registration page every day. On each visit to access the private pages you will have to log in.
